This wedding at David Walley’s Resort was one of the sweetest, most heartfelt events I photographed this year. Ashlee and Steven met while on tour in Afghanistan and Iraq. Their friendship quickly turned into a romance, and their love for one another was evident the moment I met them.
Located south of Reno in the Sierra Nevada foothills, David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort is a great choice for a local wedding venue. They have five natural hot spring pools, two outdoor swimming pools, and a fitness center, and a full-service spa. If that’s not enough to help you relax and unwind during your wedding weekend, I don’t know what is!
This Reno Tahoe wedding venue is a short distance from all of the attractions in downtown Reno, and it is also a short drive from gorgeous Lake Tahoe. The 1862 Restaurant & Saloon offers fine casual dining without having to leave the venue.
Ashlee and Steven’s outdoor ceremony left few eyes dry, and the special toasts from siblings and parents shared with all of us the journey these two have been on since they first met. A big ‘Congratulations’ to these two!
