I’ve always been fascinated with the mysterious movements that bring couples together; the chemistry that moves people from friends to forever.
When I chatted with Jenni and Kurt over tea and scones at the Boulder Teahouse, we talked about how they met. I got the full account. And, like all truly good stories, this one had it all- a connection, a flirtatious remark, a heated round of beer pong, good friends and a hail-mary winning shot that put the crowd into a frenzy and caught the eye of a secret admirer. As they say, the rest was history.
When Jenni and Kurt contacted me about Wedding Photography, I asked them first and foremost what it was they were looking for from their wedding photographer. Jenni said they had resonated most with some of my landscape and nature work. They are getting married this summer at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, CO. They felt that given the beautiful, natural setting of the Della Terra, we’d be a good fit.
The three of us spent the afternoon together at one of my favorite spots in the Rocky Mountains, not far from where they are to be married. I couldn’t help but notice a rare tenderness that these two share. I think you’ll see it too.
Congratulations on your engagement, Jenni and Kurt!
