Amsterdam Street Photography
The next time you look at your international flight itinerary and cringe at the prospect of an 8 hour layover in Amsterdam Sciphol Airport, fear not! Grab your camera and jump on the train. Downtown Amsterdam is worth the short 25 minute train ride from the airport. You can pass your extra time with some Amsterdam street photography. It sure beats sitting in the terminal!
Amsterdam has a public transportation system rivaling that of ancient Atlantis. Not to mention a vibrant city center with you can easily explore by foot or bike. In general Amsterdam’s beautiful network of canals rivals Venice itself.
En route to Africa last month, we spent the better part of a day in Amsterdam. We explored the city’s plazas, alleyways and even the red light district.
Here are a few favorites from the afternoon. I hope you enjoy them.

Chris- I LOVE the pink bike picture! All the pictures are so cool! You have me wondering how I can redo my girls rooms and our Breck condo using some of your cool photos! Who knew we had such a great artist in our midst? Can you say humble! Love it!!!!
