Rachel and Zach pulled off an awesome Chalet View Lodge wedding. This venue is in Graeagle, which is about an hour north of Lake Tahoe. For a whole bunch of reasons, it is perfect for anyone who wants a true weekend getaway. There are a so many activities to do without ever leaving the property. But you could just as easily put your feet up and relax during the days before your wedding.
For starters they have a zip line across the pond. Need I say more? Next, there is a 9-hole golf course that winds its way around the property. While the hair and makeup team went to work on the ladies, Zach and his groomsmen grabbed their beverages and played a fun round golf. They even have a volleyball court, not to mention Bocce Ball, and horseshoes. After you have worn yourself out with those activities, you can swim a lap in the pool or soak in the hot tub. By the time you are starting to feel a little sore, you can sign up for a massage at their health spa.
Clearly, this venue has everything you need to show your wedding guests a great time. And it comes without many of the restrictions of other wedding venues in the Lake Tahoe area. In general I find weddings to be more relaxed and more enjoyable when everything takes place at the same venue. No driving, shuttles, or buses needed to move people around means less stress and more time to enjoy yourself.
