The Edgewood Resort sits on one of the most scenic stretches of Lake Tahoe’s shoreline. Southwesterly breezes blow across the alpine water. Breathtaking sunsets seem to appear daily, on a convenient schedule. Brittany and Justin’s Edgewood Tahoe wedding was a special day for both its natural beauty and down-to-earth celebration alike.
As their wedding photographer, an added bonus for me was seeing familiar faces. Brittany’s maid of honor, Annelise, booked me to photograph her own wedding last year. Annelise and Ian’s Tahoe South Lake wedding at the Zephyr Cove Resort wasn’t long ago. It was great to see them in back in town for another Lake Tahoe wedding! It is also a wonderful compliment that Annelise recommended my Lake Tahoe wedding photography to one of her best friends.
Both sides of the wedding party started their day at the newly rennovated Coachman Hotel. Brittany’s bridesmaids wore elegant turquoise dresses that flowed in the gentle afternoon wind, while Justin and his groomsmen sported black bowties. To be sure, it was a perfect blend of natural tones and a modest hint of formality. When everyone was ready, both sides headed to the Edgewood for the ceremony. Their wedding ceremony featured big wedding ring security in a small package (see below). It is fun seeing couples weave their own sense of humor into their wedding day!
