Mary Ann and Alister’s Lake Tahoe backyard wedding was altogether a celebration of huge proportions. It’s definitely not everyday you can get this many of your best friends and closest family into one lakeside residence. But these two pulled it off beautifully.
When I met them on Tahoe’s West Shore earlier this year, the wedding day plans were really beginning to shape up. All things considered, Mary Ann’s family home is in a perfect location. With a strong wrist, the house is truly a stone’s throw away from the clear waters of Lake Tahoe. All in all they would be able to reconnect with their guests, say their vows, and dance the night away. Very quickly, all the details and logistics were falling into place.
I knew immediately that the setting would be gorgeous. I also knew that with the skilled coordination from Heather Spear and Summit Soiree, the day would flow smoothly. What I didn’t know was just how much awesome energy their friends and families would bring to the dance floor during the reception. If there was one wedding reception this Summer that bumped better than most, this would be it.
