Granlibakken Weddings
Granlibakken is the site of a ski area that dates back to the 1920’s. This wedding venue sits less than a mile from Lake Tahoe. To point out, it is also a short drive from all the amenities of Tahoe City. Tucked away in groves of pine, cedar and fir trees, Granlibakken Weddings offer you an unexpected level of seclusion and peace during the busy summer months.
The charm and intimacy of a Lake Tahoe wedding at Granlibakken go hand-in-hand with an incredible guest capacity of up to 350 friends and relatives. For a more rustic and intimate wedding celebration, the Cedar House and the Pavilion are wedding sites for groups of up to 125. The Executive Lodge can be rented out in its entirety for Lake Tahoe Weddings of 40 people, with space outside for an outdoor reception of up to 250 wedding guests. In the event you expect more than 250 wedding guests, consider the Mountain Ballroom. The Mountain Ballroom has a seating capacity of 350 and dance floor capacity of 300. In case you have a lot of friends that like to party, this may be the ticket for you. By the same token, if your DJ can get 300 of your wedding guests on the dance floor, I want to be there.
By and large, this venue can accommodate a wide range of events. It certainly has the versatility to host any wedding reception and the charm to please any bride planning a modern wedding. The forested setting will make for some great photography. To include Lake Tahoe in your photos, you should definitely consider a quick trip to the lake.
