Hyatt Regency Weddings

The Hyatt Regency Resort in Incline Village is one of the few “full-service” lakeside venues in Lake Tahoe. That is to say, you won’t need to hire any outside vendors for your event. There are a number of beautiful beaches around the lake that are available as wedding venues. Not to mention many private homes and estates. But it is important to realize that hiring a caterer to bring in food and beverage service adds a significant logistical piece to the wedding puzzle. On the other hand, Hyatt Regency weddings take of everything you need.

The Hyatt grounds have a wide variety of setting for your photos. Sunlit beach by the lake. Pier that extends out over the water at sunset. Pine-forested lawn with filtered sunlight. Many Lake Tahoe wedding venues have predominantly one or two of these features. If you have the time on your wedding day to explore the Hyatt grounds with your photographer, you will surely get a good collection of photos.

Ceremony & Reception Sites for Hyatt Regency Weddings

The Hyatt has several ceremony sites that you can choose from. Certainly, the size of your wedding and your guest count will be a factor in this decision. If you envision a sunny ceremony with your feet in the sand, you have that option. In contrast, you can also opt for the shaded lawn of the Lakeside Cottage Green under the pine trees.

The Lakeside Cottage Green is one of the most popular ceremony sites at the Hyatt Regency. This location accommodates up to 400 wedding guests. Moreover, the space is roomy enough for a wedding ceremony as well as a cocktail hour. With minimal re-organizing by the staff of the Hyatt, the Cottage Green can also be configured for a full sit-down dinner and wedding reception under the stars. A tent and heating lamps are easy add-ons in case of inclement weather.

Not far from the Lakeside Cottage Green lies the Hyatt Regency Resort’s private beach. With a capacity of up to 200 wedding guests, this ceremony site offers a beautiful setting by the lake. On busy summer weekends, this site feels less secluded than the Cottage Green, but the view is hard to beat.

Not surprisingly, the Lakeside Ballroom is a common winter wedding location. With an entire wall of windows looking west, the ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests. From here, you can enjoy views of Lake Tahoe from the warmth of a comfortable banquet hall.
