Lake Tahoe Wedding Shoes

Inasmuch as wedding dresses should stand for who you are, so too should your wedding shoes. In particular, your footwear can say a lot about you and your tastes. Especially on your wedding day. Whether you go for blue heels or pink flats, there is a lot of thought that goes into wedding day kicks. In order to keep your feet happy on your wedding day, there are some important things to know.

The first thing it to remember is that no matter how cute your shoes are, if they hurt your tootsies you will not want to wear them. They say fashion comes before comfort, but you might disagree once your feet are swollen. With this in mind, you can always try to break in your wedding shoes ahead of time. Definitely wear them around the house a few times if you can. Adding a stick-on arch support is also a good idea. If you plan to walk on grass, make sure you have some heel protectors. Make sure these fit (and stay on) ahead of time!

Last of all, you can always indulge and buy a pair of reception wedding shoes. This way, you can still shake a tail feather at your reception. And you won’t have to worry about breaking a heel. Or an ankle.
