Zephyr Cove Resort Weddings
Zephyr Cove is one of the more idyllic locations in Lake Tahoe. An “old soul” in Tahoe’s history, the Zephyr Cove Resort dates back to 1862. Zephyr Cove Resort weddings can be as casual or as sophisticated as you’d like. Moreover, the close proximity to Lake Tahoe and surrounding groves of Sierra pines and Aspens are ideal for wedding photography.
Want to get married on a boat? Altogether, Lake Tahoe Cruises offers four options. First, the 70 foot Tahoe Princess. Second, the 85 foot luxury yacht the Tahoe Paradise. Your third choice is the authentic 144 foot Tahoe Queen, a Mississippi-built paddle wheeler. These boats can accommodate up to 120 and 450 guests, respectively. In the event you need more room, consider Zephyr Cove’s very own M.S. Dixie. This is a modern version of the paddle wheeler that will carry 550 of your best friends and family. Ahoy matey!
Ordinarily, brides appreciate some logistical guidance and advice. The coordinators at the Zephyr Cove Resort are generally equipped to participate as much or as little in the planning of your day as you would like. Fortunately, the wedding catering and menu options are not lacking. You can opt for buffet style dining or mouth-watering plated dinners. Whereas some folks will sign up for a more casual BBQ celebration, others might prefer passed hors d’oeuvres. As for me, I’ll take the Portobello Mushroom Lasagna!
