Mitchells Meadows Wedding: Candice + Wil
First, reset your odometer. Then, follow a dirt road over a bridge for about a mile and a half. When you reach a crossroad, go straight through. At the next “Y”, veer right. At the second “Y” keep left and drive through a stream.
These are the directions to Mitchells Meadows, where you can get married on 80 acres of pine groves, mule’s ears, and grassy meadows, all surrounded by National Forest. For Candice and Wil, this description sounded like the perfect place to make it official.
I find that when your venue is this laid back, you can simply be yourself. More and more often, I recommend Mitchells Meadows (and a few other hidden gems like it) to anyone that wants to enjoy their big day in the heart of the Sierra. Candice and Wil created an incredible event that truly celebrated their adventures together over the years. More than anything, I love photographing a wedding with smiles, tears, laughter, a few more tears, and a beautiful couple with loving families and amazing friends.
