Northstar Lake Tahoe Wedding

Wendy and Abe’s Northstar Lake Tahoe wedding is already on my ‘Best of 2011′ list. In order to reach the ceremony site, everyone rode the gondola to Northstar’s mid-mountain area. From there, the venue overlooks the hills and meadows of Martis Valley. If one officiant is good, two is even better. At one moment a Jewish wedding and a Christian wedding the next, Wendy and Abe’s unique ceremony combined multiple wedding rites.

Back down in Northstar’s Village, friends and family partied like they meant it. Northstar’s event and catering staff helped the day flow smoothly. Julie Matises of A Rose is a Rose created a gorgeous array of bouquets, boutonnieres and floral arrangements. And Lake Tahoe DJ Ryan Palmer kept the dance floor bumpin’ until the very last track.

Wendy and Abe, it was such a pleasure meeting and working with you both. And what an honor to photograph such an important day in your lives!
