Andrea and Barrett’s Northstar Tahoe wedding was at one of the most scenic wedding venues in Lake Tahoe. The Zephyr Lodge sits high on the ski resort between Mt. Pluto and Lookout Mountain. Northstar is one of Tahoe’s most popular ski resorts, and the views are stunning. Owing to its location, the venue is accessible only via the Tahoe Zephyr Express chairlift. In short, this makes for an adventurous and exciting day on the mountain for you and your wedding guests. Coupled with a stunning outdoor ceremony site, the alpine reception lodge is a unique and memorable location for any wedding.
Prior to the wedding, Andrea and her bridesmaids got ready at a vacation rental nearby. Correspondingly, Barrett and the guys prepped nearby in the Northstar Village. In order to ride up the chairlift together, they rendezvoused for a ‘First Look’ in the village. After that, the entire wedding party made their way up the mountain via the Northstar Gondola and the Tahoe Zephyr Express chairlift. I’d say the ceremony site speaks for itself at this Lake Tahoe wedding venue. Specifically, the ridge drops off to the west. As a result, you will enjoy sweeping views from the north all the way to the south. Turn around and you can see all the way towards Mt. Rose to the east.
Without a doubt, Andrea and Barrett’s friends brought the party with them. Normally I’d chalk it up to a bit of rarified air. But not this time. Everyone was on the dance floor, shaking their best tail feather. On the whole, this was a perfect Tahoe wedding day.
