Outdoor Lake Tahoe Weddings

Ann and Mark currently live in Illinois. But Ann’s family owns a North Lake Tahoe cabin, and they often visit. Although they won’t be getting married in Lake Tahoe next year, Ann and Mark had their hearts set on having some engagement photos near Truckee. North Lake Tahoe and the trails around Truckee continue to enchant me with their rugged beauty. We spent the evening visiting a few of my favorite locations. We followed the light as the sun sank below the Sierra crest, shooting whenever we found some nice light. It’s always fun to share a bit of granite and some open sky with folks from out of town.
