Reno Wedding at David Walley’s Resort: Ashlee + Steven
This wedding at David Walley’s Resort was one of the sweetest, most heartfelt events I photographed this year. Ashlee and Steven met while on tour in Afghanistan and Iraq. Their friendship quickly turned into a romance, and there was no denying their love for one another the moment I met them. As a Reno wedding photographer, I always look forward to working with couples like this. Above all, they genuinely cared about their wedding photos. Additionally, they were open to try a variety of creative ideas.
David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort is south of Reno in the Sierra Nevada foothills. If you want to get away from the bustle of “The Biggest Little City in the World, this is a great choice for a local wedding venue. For starters, they have five natural hot spring pools. To say nothing of two outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, and a full-service spa. If that’s not enough to help you relax and unwind during your wedding weekend, I don’t know what is!
This Reno Tahoe wedding venue is a short distance from all of the attractions in downtown Reno. It is also a short drive from Lake Tahoe. The 1862 Restaurant & Saloon even offers fine casual dining without having to leave the venue.
Ashlee and Steven’s outdoor ceremony left few eyes dry. Not to mention the special toasts from siblings and parents! A big ‘Congratulations’ to these two!
