I met Susie and Chris for a really fun afternoon engagement session at Speedboat Beach. This beach is a beautiful little cove not far from the California and Nevada state line. There are countless great locations in Lake Tahoe for couples portraits, but this is definitely one of my favorites. If you are thinking of scheduling some North Lake Tahoe engagement photos, check this place out! Generally, the only beaches with large granite boulders are only on the east side of the lake. But, the light is fantastic right here.
Seeing as how you might be planning a wedding in Lake Tahoe, this is the best way to get used to a camera aiming your way. It is also a great way for us to make some images that you can print and frame for your wedding reception. Not to mention, they can be a great gift for family and friends. As a matter of fact, why not print a few extra copies to decorate your own home?
Lake Tahoe’s stunning shoreline varies significantly along its 72 miles. There are wide open beaches, rocky alcoves, and shallow bays. In case there is a little hiking involved, bring along a pair of comfortable shoes. Coupled with an adventurous attitude, chances are good that we’ll find some great spots for photos. If you would like to schedule an outdoor portrait session, get in touch and we can discuss some options!
Chris is always excited to share a ton of great tips and ideas for planning an awesome Lake Tahoe wedding.
