The Lodge at Tahoe Donner is a really cool wedding venue. Especially for couples that want an outdoor wedding among the pine trees. First, you get an awesome ceremony venue. Second, the Lodge has all the amenities you need for a fun cocktail hour and reception. In addition, the ceremony and reception sites are right next to each other. This means you get the ambiance of the forest with the convenience of a top-notch venue. It doesn’t hurt that the service is great and they cook up the best food in the area. A Tahoe Donner Lodge wedding will be an event your guests won’t forget. That said, it helps to have friends who know how to shake a tail feather!
Kathleen and Kyle are true adventurers. This is especially clear in the story of their engagement. When they left the house, Kathleen thought they were headed out for a typical ski mountaineering objective. They planned to bootpack up the Neutrino Couloir on Brokeoff Moutain. With good conditions, they planned to ski back down the same way. If you didn’t catch on, these two are legitimate skiers. On the summit, Kyle pulled an engagement ring out of his pack! The couloir was a bit too firm on the climb up, so they skied down the ‘easy’ way 🙂
Their party was totally boss. I’m probably too young to use that word. But I’m going to use it anyway. Kathleen, Kyle, and their friends shook plenty of tail feathers on the dance floor and I was pretty psyched to be there to document the awesome sauce.

In conclusion if you are planning a wedding, you should consider a Tahoe Donner wedding. Or perhaps something a little farther north like a Chalet View Lodge wedding.
