Janelle and Rob are in the running for the most adventurous wedding week of the Summer. When they left their home in Southern California earlier that month, they didn’t drive to Lake Tahoe. Instead, they headed for Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. That’s right. Prior to heading to the lake, they warmed up for their Martis Camp wedding with a weeklong side trip to Burning Man.
After a week of radical, interactive art and unhindered self-expression, Janelle and Rob turned their sights toward Truckee. Upon reaching Lake Tahoe, they transitioned from a community of over 65,000 people to a vastly smaller community of close friends and family. But they brought the love with them. As with other Martis Camp weddings before them they stepped, quite literally, into a circle of love and support to say their wedding vows.
What followed was a ceremony of laughter and tears. And a very special couple opening their hearts not just to one another, but to everyone in attendance. This celebration was surely as heartfelt as they come. The light at their Martis Camp wedding was spectacular. Normally, you only see this kind light in the Wine Country. Or perhaps on the Central Coast.
A big congratulations to Janelle and Rob!
