Scott and Shannon’s wedding in Anguilla was one of the highlights of this summer. Anguilla is 35 square miles of white sand, palm trees. As a result of its position in the Caribbean, it has some of the clearest water I have ever seen. It is located just north of Saint Martin in the British West Indies but comparatively, Anguilla is much smaller. What a rare treat to travel here for their Anguilla wedding photos!
Scott and Shannon live in Anguilla full-time. But their relationships with everyone back home remain strong. The number of friends and family that made the journey all the way to the Caribbean is serious proof that Scott and Shannon keep in touch with the people they hold dear. As they know the island better than any mainlander, everyone was in good hands. Scott and Shannon guided their guests to the best places to relax, explore, and eat. The days leading up to the wedding were full of everything from rum punches by the pool to boat trips to nearby coves, beaches, and cayes.
Wedding Ceremony and Reception Locations for Anguilla Wedding Photos
After a ceremony at the quaint Bethel Methodist church, they kicked off the reception at Frangipani Beach Resort. Beachside cocktails and dinner came next. While everyone enjoyed dinner, one of the best wedding entertainers I have seen was just warming up. Boss and the Horse Power Band covered all the classics, and more. Of course, with an island twist thrown into the mix. Sharing the microphone liberally, Boss uncovered some very legitimate vocal talent among Shannon and Scott’s guests.
From the second I set foot on the island to the moment I left, they welcomed me into this awesome celebration. Worth noting is that during the week I was there, I enjoyed one of the best Italian meals since Sicily. In Anguilla? Yes, in Anguilla.
