Samantha and Cedric’s celebration was at one of my favorite Lake Tahoe wedding venues. Their Hyatt Regency Tahoe wedding brought together families from all over the country. Of course, if the summers get a little hot in Texas, why not come and get married in Lake Tahoe!? After all, the cool lake breezes blowing off Lake Tahoe pass right across the Cottage Green ceremony site. And you and your guests can watch the sunset right from the Hyatt beach.
I really loved that Sam and Cedric invited me to photograph their “welcome dinner” the evening before the wedding. If you are planning a wedding in Lake Tahoe, this is a great way to spend more time with your out-of-town guests. Moreover, it allows me to capture more photos of your friends and family. Especially considering so many people travel significant distances for Lake Tahoe weddings. Lastly, the additional face-time with everyone means that I am no longer a novelty on your wedding day. They know me by name, and I already know many of them.
Sam and Cedric do not present themselves as merely two people in love. Even their vows reflected this. Adoring one another to the core, their relationship shows an undying commitment, a trusting and supportive partnership, and a sense of humor that will carry them through all of life’s adventures. It was a pleasure working with these two, and an honor documenting their Lake Tahoe wedding!
