Jerilyn and Matt crafted a beautifully intimate Sand Harbor wedding. Although there are plenty of Lake Tahoe wedding venues that a great for outdoor weddings, it’s hard to beat a place where you can put your toes in the sand and your feet in the water. And heck, at Sand Harbor you can even jump in the lake for a swim after your ceremony!
Sand Harbor is the perfect outdoor wedding venue if you want to keep it casual and let the beauty of Lake Tahoe speak for itself. Amazing blue sky? Check. Crazy clear Caribbean-esque water? Yup. Jerilyn and Matt are both skiers and rock climbers. So, this wedding venue was a solid testament to their shared love for fresh air and the natural world.
Matt and Jerilyn took care of the final “getting ready” touches after they arrived at Sand Harbor. A little bit of coordinating kept Matt in one cove and Jerilyn in another. As Matt and his friends finished setting everything up, Jerilyn got into her wedding dress and shoes. This was definitely the ultimate in “al fresco” wedding preparation.
It was a perfect Tahoe summer day, and the group area ramada offered up shade for a catered lunch, cake-cutting, and heart-felt wedding toasts. Sand Harbor weddings are for those who love being outdoors. And sharing this incredible place with your friends and family. Don’t forget your swimsuit!
