Everline Resort & Spa is your gateway to Olympic Valley
Everline Resort & Spa is an award-winning, luxury resort located at the base of Olympic Valley, California. Olympic Valley was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, and it is just six miles from Lake Tahoe. During the winter, guests can snowshoe, cross-country ski, and ice skate. A chairlift at the resort connects guests to Palisades Tahoe, the largest ski resort in the area. In summertime, the resort offers golf, scenic biking and hiking trails, and even a fly fishing center.
There are three picturesque outdoor locations for your ceremony. The Spa Deck is an expansive patio for up to 200 guests. It overlooks the golf course, pool area, and the Pavilion. Pine trees, aspen trees, and a large outdoor fireplace and chimney accentuate this outdoor space, while also sheltering your guests from afternoon breezes during summer.
Large enough for 200 guests, the Golf Course is possibly the most scenic ceremony site at Everline Resort & Spa. A short walk from the hotel brings you to the 10th Tee, where you can clearly see KT-22, Monument Ridge, and all the other peaks on the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Having photographed weddings at nearly every location over the past decade, I believe this is one of the most dramatic and memorable backdrops of any Lake Tahoe wedding venue.Â
The Pavilion is a popular reception venue, but you can also get married here. Sized to accommodate 400 guests, this is one of the largest ceremony venues in Lake Tahoe. Although your guests won’t be facing the mountains, their backs will be to the sun. As with the Spa Deck, the Pavilion also receives less wind than the Golf Course during summer afternoons.
Since I am based in North Lake Tahoe, Everline Resort & Spa feels like an extension of my own backyard. I grew up skiing in Olympic Valley, and I love photographing weddings here.
