Tacie and Joseph’s Lake Tahoe Tree Company wedding will certainly stand out in my memory. This was a beautiful celebration of love between two of the sweetest people I have met. All you need to do is spend five minutes with them and I have not doubt that you will agree. It almost goes without saying, these two belong together.
As far as wedding venues go, the Tahoe Tree Company is something of a hidden gem. Unlike some of the larger venues in the area, you might not even know you can have a wedding here. But that doesn’t mean this isn’t an an amazing setting, and it definitely merits a closer look.
The Tahoe Tree Company is primarily a plant and tree nursery. At the same time, you can book it as a wedding venue. Inasmuch as vibrant, colorful, flowers and plants burst with color throughout spring and summer, the grounds make a gorgeous setting for an outdoor event. Additionally, the ceremony and reception sites are right next to one another. You won’t need any transportation throughout the day, and the extra time that you gain is a great opportunity for everyone to relax and enjoy the lush, natural surroundings.
Tacie and Joe chose an outdoor ceremony near the gazebo. A local Tahoe catering company served dinner al fresco. After dessert and some hilarious speeches, everyone moved indoors for dancing. The indoor space is a great safety net in case it rains. But if you like, you can host the entire event outdoors. Either way, I will be so excited the next time I get to photograph a wedding here.
