Haley and David pulled off an amazing Lake Tahoe west shore wedding. Surely, one of the best I have ever seen. In my book, emotion, expression, and joy are the judging criteria. Needless to say, these guys scored a 10/10. First of all, you can’t say your vows much closer to the water than this. Second, at least half of their friends didn’t wear shoes to this ceremony. When you’re sitting on the beach in Lake Tahoe, why bother? The lake was a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony, dinner, and a long night of dancing under the stars.
If you can organize a location right on the shores of Lake Tahoe, there’s no reason to have a ceremony and reception in separate locations. Friends, family, and guests will be thrilled to spend the day with such an incredible view. Moreover, you’ll save the time and energy involved in moving your guests around. For a “backyard wedding”, this was an amazing wedding venue. Add to that a fun-loving couple and a phenomenal group of high-energy friends, and you have the recipe for a jaw-dropping ceremony and totally bumpin’ dance party.
All in all, this Lake Tahoe west shore wedding was a blast. Many thanks to Haley and David for trusting me to capture some of these awesome moments. You guys didn’t hold back at all, which makes my job super fun. While some parties wind down by the time curfew rolls around, you and your friends were just getting started. I salute you!
