Kristi and Nate’s PlumpJack Olympic Valley Inn wedding definitely set a high bar for destination weddings in Lake Tahoe. Though they live in New York, they flew all the way back to the West Coast to tie the knot. Needless to say, they brought all their friends with them and threw down one of the best PlumpJack parties of the year.
The PlumpJack Inn continues to be one of my favorite places for weddings in North Lake Tahoe. Because it sits right in The Village at Palisades Tahoe, it offers a multitude of outdoor activities for your out-of-town friends. Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, and the Truckee River are all in equally close. Whenever you want an amazing, view, the gondola will take you straight up the mountain. The list of fun activities near High Camp is long. From mid-mountain you can for hike, bike, and swimming. Yes, they even have a swimming pool up on the mountain!
During our first conversation, Kristi and Nate gave me their list of priorities for their big day. “Laid back, stress-free, and epic party” stand out among my notes from that evening. While some couples plan a very quiet event, these guys had an action-packed vision from the start. After that first chat, I knew this was going to be a good one.
Kristi and Nate, I had a blast working with you both!
